Ouro beach

On the west side of the Sesimbra, a picturesque fishing town an hour south of Lisbon, you find Ouro beach, between Santigo Fortress and the Morro do Macorrilho.

Praia do Ouro Sesimbra

800 meters of clear and smooth water, various equipment and services, like beach surveillance, water sports, restaurant, bar, beach library, among others, are available to visitors during summer time.

The quality of the sea water is good, with a temperature that varies from 12º to 14º in winter and from 15º to 16º in summer. In the town centre, there are many restaurants where you can enjoy tasteful gastronomy based on seafood dishes that will delight the most demanding.

During summer time, Sesimbra cheers up with several music shows and other events. It is also possible to visit our finest monuments like the Castle or Cabo Espichel.
