Este bar

The owners’ motto is: “The smallest bar, the busiest living room”. Go there when you happen to be in Alfama, and you will surprisingly discover why.

Rua dos remédios 182, 1100452 Lisboa

} Wednesday to Sunday 20H00 - 2H00 | Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays

This pocket-sized bar is a gem in the Alfama district of Lisbon. It is characterised by retro pleasant interiors, home-like feeling and the street it’s in is always full of life.
Don’t ever think you will feel uncomfortable or tight at the inside: the small size of the bar is giving the right ambience and vibe.
Moreover you can sit indoors, or stand outside, both plenty of colourful stools and small tables vintage flavour, and everyone is really sociable and easy going.

Definitely the best place in Lisbon to make new friends, have a nice chat, or play chess!

The great charming selection of music is mostly from the fifties, but if you are lucky enough, you will get a jam session of live music from local artists.

Above all, the best part of Este bar are the super cheap but high quality local drinks, from Ginjinha to Amêndoa, and wide range of custom tasty, and mostly, huge sandwiches.

What more can you wish for ?
Definitely a tiny winy bar, with a giant soul.
