Rua de Santa Catarina 2715-311 Lisbon

} Mon-Sun, 12pm-12am / Sat-Sun, 11am-12am

This café & restaurant in Miradouro de Santa Catarina, between two of Lisbon’s trendiest districts, Chiado and Bairro Alto, is a great to enjoy a cocktail with friends, lay back and listen to funky music. There’s often a live DJ and music performances.

The menu includes healthy salads (tasty options for vegetarians), tapas, brunch, main dishes, toasts and desserts. Try the “croquetes de alheira” with an ‘imperial’ – what locals call to a fresh draught beer.

Its outdoor tables are oh so tempting, especially on sunny days. And even if it’s a little bit chilly, they offer blankets. Inside or outside, don’t miss the fantastic cocktails.

Prices are reasonable, it has free WiFi and there is a space for children stocked with toys.

It’s near the iconic Bica Funicular, which connects Bairro Alto to the riverfront neighbourhood of Cais do Sodré.
